Before you begin
- Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network
- Have your WiFi name and password ready
- Plug in your AquaTru Smart unit
- Download the AquaTru App from the App Store or Google Play
Step by step instructions
- Open the AquaTru App on your phone
- Tap “Create an Account” or sign in if you already have an account
- Plug in your AquaTru Smart unit
- Press and hold the Reset button on the unit until the WiFi light begins blinking blue

- Create or choose a location.
- When prompted, open your phone WiFi settings. If you have an Android, click on “Go to WiFi setting” to go to the WiFi page. If you have an iOS, you will have to manually go to the WiFi page.

- Return to the AquaTru App and tap on “I connected to AquaTru”
- Name your AquaTru device and enter a purchase date. Tap on “Proceed”
- The AquaTru device will now search for a home network.
- Select your home WiFi network
- Enter your WiFi password and tap Proceed
- Wait for the confirmation screen showing your unit is connected
Once connected, your AquaTru will appear in the app and begin syncing filter life and usage data.
