If you do not see the AquaTru network in your phone WiFi list, follow these troubleshooting steps.
Step by step troubleshooting
- Confirm the AquaTru Smart unit is plugged in
- Press and hold the Reset button until the WiFi light blinks blue
- Open your phone WiFi settings
- Wait up to 60 seconds for the AquaTru network to appear
- Refresh the WiFi list if needed
If the network still does not appear
Using the AquaTru App
- Move your phone closer to the AquaTru unit
- On iPhone, tap “Show Other Networks” if the AquaTru network is not visible
- Make sure WiFi is turned on
- Force close the app so it is not running in the background, then reopen it
- Power cycle the AquaTru unit and try again
- Confirm the AquaTru network is visible on another smartphone
Using Web Setup (Manual WiFi Connection)
- Open your phone’s WiFi Settings
- Look for the AquaTru network in the list
- On iPhone, tap “Show Other Networks” if you do not see it immediately
- Select the AquaTru network
- If it does not appear, power cycle the unit and refresh your WiFi list
- Move closer to the unit and try again
