You can check your device connection status directly in the AquaTru App.
Step by step instructions
- Open the AquaTru App
- Select your AquaTru Smart unit
- If you have a Carafe Smart, look for the “Online” status on the device screen
- If you have a Classic Smart, check that the app accurately shows the current status of the unit. For example, when the tap tank needs to be emptied and refilled, you should see the following message.
- Confirm that filter life percentages are visible and updated. If your unit is online, you will see current filter life data and device status.
- Additionally, check that the WiFi symbol on your AquaTru purifier is solid blue. It should NOT be flashing, or off.
If your unit appears offline
- Close and reopen the AquaTru App
- Confirm your phone and is connected to WiFi
- Check that your home WiFi network is active
- Try removing one or both tap tanks. Or filter some water through the unit
- Confirm your device is connected to WiFi. The WiFi symbol on the purifier should be a solid blue.
