Why won’t my AquaTru turn on (brand new unit), or why was it working and no longer will turn on (no lights on the display)?

Please take a moment to review the following checklist to ensure everything is in order:

1. Power On: Turn the power switch to the 'on' position at the back of the unit to get things started.
2. Power Connection: Double-check that the power adapter is firmly connected to the base and plugged into a working outlet. A stable power source is key!
3. Check the Tanks: Make sure the clean water tank is completely empty, and the tap water tank is filled to capacity. This ensures your unit runs smoothly and efficiently.
4. Positioning: Confirm that both tanks are seated correctly in their designated spots to avoid leaks or malfunctions.
5. Side Panel: Ensure the side panel is closed securely and flush with the top of the control panel to keep everything running smoothly.
6. Magnet Position: Verify that the small magnet on the filter cover door is positioned correctly. This is important for the filter system to function properly.
7. Tank Alignment: Ensure both tanks are fully seated on the base to prevent any issues during operation.
