All of our AquaTru purifiers, whether they are designed for countertop use or installed under the sink, utilize identical filter systems. This uniformity extends to the lifespan of the filters, which are rated based on time and remain consistent across all models in our product line. It is important to note that while the VOC filters, specifically the Classic and Alkaline versions, maintain a consistent filter life of 12 months regardless of the purifier configuration, there are differences in the certification of filter capacities between the two types of purifiers.
For our countertop purifiers, the filters are certified to last for up to 600 gallons of water. This means that users can expect to replace the filters after filtering a total of 600 gallons, providing a reliable and efficient purification process for their drinking water. On the other hand, our under sink purifiers come with a certification for a filter life of 360 gallons. This indicates that the filters in these systems will need to be replaced after filtering 360 gallons of water. The differences in these capacities reflect the varying demands and usage scenarios for each type of purifier, ensuring that customers can choose the best option for their needs while still benefiting from the same high-quality filtration technology.
